Mace in Spain nearing completion on Plaza Mayor Shopping Centre, Malaga

Mace in Spain is pleased to report that construction works on the extension of the Plaza Mayor Shopping Centre, are continuing at great speed as the project nears completion. The mall, which is another in the portfolio of Sonae Immobiliaria, a major Portuguese developer, is located near Malaga airport.
The client is a leading international developer of large and mid-sized shopping centres, and they appointed Mace to deliver the project and construction management on the extension of the centre. Plaza Mayor was originally constructed by Mace nearly a decade ago and this project is an extension of the existing centre adding around 50,000m2 of floor space and other modernisations.
The renovated centre is scheduled to open to the public at the end of September 2008.
