Mace Retail holds first Breakfast Briefing on state of the market

Matthew Turner, head of Mace Retail, hosted the team's first Retail Breakfast Briefing on the 18th September 2008, to present a hard look at how the state of the economy will affect the retail sector and in particular retail property. As one of
the major specialists in the retail property market. Mace Retail
has handled rebranding and refurbishment projects for many of the major
high-street retailers and banks and this series of briefings will be taking a look at the many diverse challenges and opportunities faced by the retail sector, with another briefing in the works for early 2009.

Guest speaker John Forbes of PriceWaterhouseCoopers gave an insightful presentation on the post-credit crunch market, recognising that the current financial crisis was a focus for the whole
audience. He reminded us that in every challenging market opportunities
arise for organisations that can be flexible and restructure their
offerings to meet the needs of the market and their customer.
